We are finalists and really excited!
Last night we were informed that Hudya has been chosen as a finalist in the Silicon Vikings Startup World Cup Norway Competition 2018.
The regional finale will take place at the Technoport Conference in Trondheim February 28th.
– This is an honor for our entire organization. We are all working hard to make everyday services fair, simple, and easy to manage for our customers, and this opportunity to present ourselves for the jury and investors makes us all feel humble and proud, says our Chief Communications Officer Morten Kvam.
– There are so many great startup’s and ideas in Norway. Knowing that, it is even more fantastic to be recognized and invited to participate in the Norwegian finale, he states.
Kvam thinks it is really motivating that high tech experts take interest in Hudya’s mission to challenge existing branches by using modern technology to group everyday services on one honest, simple, intuitive and easy to use digital platform, to fair prices and terms.
– We have already started to plan our pitch, and will definitely use our 2 minutes wisely, he states, keeping his fingers crossed.
The Grand Prize is 1 million US dollar, and judges have included the likes of Steve Wozniak (Co-Founder of Apple) and Alexis Ohanian (Co-Founder of Reddit). In the Norway regionals, the finalists will pitch on stage and get feedback from 4 seasoned investors, 2 from Norway and 2 joining us via video from Silicon Valley. They will then deliberate and name the winner.
